Welcome to WSP – Wildlife Stamp Program, the official Canadian agent for the WWF Stamp Program. WSP supports the WWF’s fund raising efforts, for the preservation of our planet’s endangered species.
WSP is dedicated to supporting the WWF and their efforts to preserve our planet’s wildlife.
WSP promotes and distributes monthly chapters of animal facts, subscriptions, collectible stamps and artist rendered envelopes. Each and every month since 1983, a different country releases a beautiful and collectible set of legal tender WWF postage stamps that feature endangered species.
Since 1983, over 1,500 different WWF stamps have been issued from 211 countries – the largest thematic collection of stamps in the world. Each stamp collection features a different endangered species from around the world. Proceeds from the sale of the stamps have helped fund a range of activities – from the conservation of endangered wildlife to helping forest and coastal-dwelling communities improve their standard of living through sustainable use of their natural resources.
The program is the most successful collectible series in the world. Each month since 1983, a different country has released a set of legal tender WWF postage stamps that feature endangered wildlife.
